At least 94% of US outage minutes start on the distribution grid, and most utilities are blind between the substation and the meter. Evardi builds a live model of a utility’s network from data it already has, matching every meter to its transformer and using virtual meters to show load and solar on every transformer. On top of that model, our AI agents do the engineering work utilities need at the grid edge: checking switching orders, finding outages after extreme weather and planning for new load from DERs and data centers. Because the model sees every transformer, it will also help utilities decide when new wires are really needed, and how distribution load can free up transmission for new data centers.

We’re working with utilities across the globe that together serve over 10 million customers. The company was founded by Diva Shah; Aarya Borele. It is part of YC Fall 2026. It is based in San Francisco, CA, USA.
